It is indeed a festive season of the year when you see the whole Hall of residence decorated in bright red decorations. The time of the year has come! the joyous occasion of Chinese New Year !
like the past years, Havoc organised the Chinese New Year Carnival to celebrate this occasion with all Fivers !
Games that were designed to relive our childhood were popular favourites among the residents , and it was indeed a lively evening. There were Chinese new year goodies and snacks up for sales too to appease the growling stomachs of Fivers as they try their hands on the different games, which are named after auspicious Chinese Blessings.
There were also a high score system where the top players of each game stand to win something home !
The night culminated with the lucky draw session whereby attractive prizes stand to be won!
At the end of the night , every Fiver were all smiles on their faces when they walk back to their room, having reliving their childhood fun and memories in a ‘Kampung ” setting, something really hard to get by and be experienced in a modern city.
